How The Program Works
Now is your chance to do something out of this world!

Registered Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity Team members and Venturers of the Cornhusker Council are eligible
to participate in the Ask Astronaut Clay Anderson a question. You must be a youth member of the
program you are registered in to participate.

Questions can be submitted by Scouts until the deadline of Tuesday, October 16th.

A total of 20 questions will be selected from all of those submitted. The first set of
10 questions will be submitted to Astronaut Anderson on Wednesday, October 10th.
The second set will be submitted after his return to earth on October 21.

Questions will be reviewed by the Scouting committee of the Cornhusker Council and
forwarded to NASA. All questions will be reviewed for suitability and each participant's eligibility will
be verified. The Cornhusker Council reserves the right to withold any and all questions
submitted.

The questions will be sent to Astronaut Anderson on the International Space
Station. His answers will be posted here on our website.

The twenty Scouts whose questions are chosen will be awarded prizes. One lucky Scout
will receive the grand prize
SkyScout Personal Planetarium
(retail $399.99). The remaining 19 Scouts will receive Traveler 10x25
Binoculars (retail $49.99). All prizes have been donated by Celestron.
Publicity
Scouts may be contacted for a press release and pictures. By submitting your question
you agree that you can be contacted and will be available for follow-up publicity.
