Merit Badge Opportunities

Every boy who becomes a Scout has dreamed of his first Summer Camp. So, it is most important that he and his Scouting pals in his patrol have an opportunity to use the program resources when they want. The merit badge program at camp is one of the most important camp program resources.

The merit badge program operates by individual initiative just as it should be at home. Each Scout seeking a merit badge must attend the initial meeting with the appropriate counselor. He may see the counselor as often as necessary.
