National Quality District Award

Requirements


A National Quality District must achieve six of eight objectives to qalify. Starred (*) items are requried.

  1. * Quality Units More than 60 percent of total units have achieved the National Quality Unit Award.

  2. * Units Record a 2 percent gain in traditional units and a net gain in total units including Learning for Life groups and posts.

  3. * Membership Growth Record balanced membership growth in total Cub Scouts, total Boy Scouts/Varsity Scouts, and total Venturers, with a gain in total membership including Learning for life, or record a 2 percent gain in total Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts/Varsity Scouts, and Venturers, with a gain in total membership including Learning for Life.

  4. *Finance Achieve finance goals.

  5. * Unit Service Provide a ratio of one unit commissioner for every three units or improve the ratio over last year.

  6. Unit Reregistration Achieve on-time unit registration goals.

  7. Key District Leaders Each position in the district structure is filled with a registered and active volunteer.

  8. Heads of Chartered Organizations Hold a conference with the head of each chartered organization annually.
